Your Councillors

The Council is split into the North and South Wards for election purposes, but all Councillors work together for the benefit of the communities that they serve. There are no committees or working parties - all decisions are taken by the full Council in their meetings. No Councillor has any political affiliation. There are normally ten Councillors, five for each Ward, but from time to time there is a vacant seat - if you are interested in being joining the Council - please contact the Clerk in the first instance.

The County Councillor for this area is Cllr Jane Tremlett - she is the County Councillor for Laugharne Township Ward of Carmarthenshire County Council.
